This Mac OS X app lets users trim audio files and convert them to MP3 for free.
The software boasts an intuitive interface and requires minimum effort to start. To use SmallMP3, open the Applescript front-end and then select the "output folder" to set the destination for your MP3 files. Next, for each input file, click "Input File" and locate the file on your PC. The file will then open in Quicktime.
After finding the start of the file in Quicktime, click the "Start" button, and then repeat the process for the "End" button. You can also optimize your output by adjusting the bitrate as per your preference. Once done, add the file to the list by clicking "add to list." You can add as many files as you want before clicking the "start conversion" button.
Upon clicking "start conversion," a terminal window will open, and the software will process and convert all the files on the list, saving them in the destination folder selected earlier. In conclusion, SmallMP3 provides a straightforward and effective solution for users who want to play, trim, and convert MP3 files with ease.
