TimeCalc is a comprehensive software that allows you to add and subtract SMPTE time codes, hours, minutes, and seconds. With four operational modes, you can perform calculations with ease. The calculator offers modes for hours and minutes, hours, minutes and seconds, SMPTE frames, and SMPTE frames and subframes.
SMPTE subframes are computed at a rate of 80 subframes per frame, and the software offers four SMPTE frame rates, including 24 fps, 25 fps, 29.97 fps, and 30 fps. If you want to take into account drop frames, TimeCalc allows you to set your calculator at 29.97 fps.
Drop frame SMPTE timecode works by dropping frame numbers 0 and 1 of the first second of every minute, and includes them only when the number of minutes is divisible by ten. TimeCalc software was designed to make complex time calculations simple and intuitive.
