The Java library enables building blocks for computational design.
Toxiclibs is designed with maximum flexibility and reusability in mind. For this reason, the libraries have been created with no further dependencies. In doing so, the libraries offer a high level of adaptability that is beneficial in various different project types. Despite their development for processing related projects, the libraries do not rely on any specific classes, including PApplet, or any other toolkit within processing. This feature should be regarded as an advantage to the library's overall appeal.
It is worth mentioning that all of the code used in the toxiclibs project utilizes Java 5 syntax. Therefore, anyone who wishes to use it will need to have a version of processing that is 0140 or higher, if not, the libraries will not function. Overall, toxiclibs is a feature-rich, flexible and reliable library that will add a new dimension to any programmer's toolkit.
