A multi-user database system for Delphi/C++ Builder that includes full source code for a single developer.
I recently had the opportunity to review the Accuracer Database System, an impressive multi-user database system with SQL support. What sets this software apart is its ability to provide access to a database in its own single-file format quickly and easily, making it a fantastic alternative to BDE.
The Accuracer Database System consists of four components. These components are TACRTable, TACRDatabase, TACRQuery, and TACRSession. TACRDatabase is ideal for working with multiple tables in a single file, while TACRQuery provides strong SQL and DDL support. TACRSession is purpose-built for multithread access, while TACRTable replaces TTable and supports most of its features, such as master/detail, filtering, searching, sorting, Key and Range methods, BLOB fields, and some special ones such as data encryption, BLOB data compression, multi-indexes, shareable in memory capabilities, in-memory mode, and others.
One of the most significant advantages of using TACRTable is that it doesn't rely on BDE, which means that it has a smaller footprint and provides extremely fast data access with buffering. Furthermore, the search performance of this component is nothing short of excellent. Accuracer also supports storing multiple tables within a single database file, or even inside the executable file, which is incredibly useful.
Overall, the Accuracer Database System is an excellent piece of software. It's incredibly straightforward to use and provides some fantastic performance enhancements over its competitors. Highly recommended.
