AKFQuiz

I recently had the opportunity to review the AKFQuiz project, a software tool that enables users to easily create their own quiz games, learning exercises or psychotests. This software is available in multiple variants, including grquiz in a graphical environment, diaquiz in a GUI environment, crtquiz for use on the text-console, and a line oriented variant, linequiz, which can be used as a backend. Additionally, akfquiz.cgi can be installed on a Web server to offer exercises via the internet or a local network.

One aspect of AKFQuiz that impressed me was its versatility. Not only can users create quizzes and exercises in a variety of formats, but the software also offers mkquiz, which generates an HTML file for use with Javascript. After generating this file, users can publish their exercises to any web-space provider they choose.

However, before moving forward with the AKFQuiz project, users should be aware of its requirements. Specifically, GRX, svgalib, and Xdialog are necessary for proper functionality.

Regarding the latest release, it is now available under the GPLv3 license or later. This release also includes bugfixes as well as some other changes. Overall, I would recommend the AKFQuiz project to anyone looking to create quizzes or exercises for educational, entertainment or psychological purposes. Its ease of use and versatility make it an excellent tool for any user.
