Amoebattle is a fun and quirky arcade game where you play as an amoeba who has to chase and absorb balls while fiercely spitting them back at the opponent! With colorful graphics and smooth animations based on squishy physics, take on short rounds of 1 or 2 players.

The game can be played against the computer, or players can compete against each other on the same machine, either by sharing the keyboard or using a joypad. There are several weirdly funny characters and few levels available for enjoyment.
Unlike traditional action games, Amoeball is essentially a sports game where nobody dies. The thrill of pure competition and the excitement of chase bring the micro-scale creatures together for the player's entertainment. In this game, amoebas play a ball game as they don't have hands or feet to play with. Instead, they use their bodies to play the ball game.
The goal of the game is to absorb balls and spit them into the opponent. Whoever hits the opponent with six balls first wins the game. Each level has 11 balls available. The amoeba can absorb balls by touching them, and absorbed balls may be spat out immediately in the mouth direction. When a ball is spat out, it becomes 'active' and colored by the previous owner.
If an 'alien' active ball is absorbed, it cannot be spat out, and it's considered an opponent's score. Active balls become neutral in several seconds if they don't get absorbed by anyone. The game can be controlled through WASD + Left Ctrl, Arrow Keys + Right Ctrl, or Joypad Left Stick + A. The Xbox 360 controller has been tested and verified for use with the game.
