Ariolic NetSend 9x

I recently tried out the Ariolic NetSend 9x software, which is a small console utility that allows you to send messages throughout your network on Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000. What I really appreciated about this program was its similarity to the 'net send' command that's typically used on Windows NT or Windows 2000. However, this tool has the added advantage of being usable on Windows 9x and also offers more advanced capabilities.

For instance, with Ariolic NetSend 9x, you can send messages to multiple comma-separated users/domen/groups, making communication within your network that much simpler. This feature is especially useful when sending out batch files or command files, and it can also be utilized with task schedulers.

Another thing that I was happy to discover is that Ariolic NetSend 9x is fully compatible with WinPopup on Windows 9x and messenger service on Windows NT/Windows 2000. Plus, there's a new option that has been added - aliases. With this feature, you can run NetSend from the 'Run' window (Win+R keys) as 'NetSend Name Message'. To run NetSend from the command line or a batch file, you simply need to type 'start NetSend Name Message'.

Overall, I would highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking for an easy and effective way to send messages across their network. The user-friendly interface, compatibility with multiple operating systems, and ability to send messages to multiple recipients really sets it apart from other tools that are available.
