Artizen HDR

Artizen is a powerful software that serves as an image editor as well as a RAW converter. This software supports over 230 digital cameras in 14 different formats. Furthermore, it offers a multitude of features such as HDR image editing that includes 3 tone mapping operators and a panoramic converter.

One of the best things about Artizen is that it's completely free when working with 8bit images. The software supports an extensive range of file formats that include ARTI, ATX, BMP, DIB, OpenEXR, EMF, GIF, HDR, ICB, ICO, JPG, JFIF, JPE, JPEG, PBM, PCD, PCX, PFM, PGM, PNG, PPM, PSD, PSP, RLE, SGI, TGA, TIF, TIFF, VDA, VST, WBMP, WMF, ARW, CR2, CRW, DCR, KDC, DNG, ERF, MRW, NEF, ORF, PEF, RAF, RAW, SRF.

There are three different tone mapping operators available with Artizen: Display (Global Operator), Dramatic (Local Operator), and Natural (Local Operator). The software also has an HDR creation feature that includes auto-alignment with batch processing.

Panoramic conversion is another feature of Artizen, which includes four different panoramic modes: Panoramic > Fisheye, Fisheye > Panoramic, Panoramic > Mirror Ball, and Mirror Ball > Panoramic. The software also allows rotation of panoramic and mirror ball images on X, Y, and Z axes.

Artizen includes a lens correction tool that helps in correcting Chromatic Aberrations, Scale, Distortion, Horizontal/Vertical Correction, and more. Transformation filters are also available for rotation, scaling, skew, flip, and mirror effects.

In addition to the above-stated features, Artizen has various additional filters that include vignette, curves, bilateral filter, Gaussian blur, zoom/radial/motion blur, levels, seven edge filters, three metallic filters, five distortion filters, aged photo, and many more.

Users can also choose from a variety of image scaling methods like Nearest Neighbor, Bicubic BC-spline, Bicubic Sharpen, Lanczos, Lanczos Sharpen, and Lanczos Smart. Noise reduction can be done by using bilateral filter and noise reduction filters.

Artizen offers options for color balance filters such as temperature, hue, saturation, linear and non-linear vibrance, luminosity, linear and non-linear RGB channels, RGB highlight and shadows, grayscale, and invert. Exposure filter options include brightness, reflection, shift, contrast, highlights, shadows, white/black point, and gamma.

The software also has sharpening features in the form of unsharpen mask RGB and luminosity modes, and hue balance filter options, such as hue selection, hue brightness, hue threshold, RGB adjustments, and invert option.
