Engage in strategic board game play against the computer with this software.

During your turn, you will roll the die by clicking the button at the center of the screen. The number displayed on the die will indicate the number of steps you can move one of your pieces. You must make as many moves as possible, with priority given to the highest number rolled. In case of a double, each die can be used twice for a total of four moves.
To move your pieces, you can choose any empty or occupied column on the board. However, if a column is occupied by two or more of your opponent's pieces, you cannot move to it. If a column has only one opponent piece, it becomes a "blot" and can be attacked by landing your piece on it. The "blot" will be moved to the bar in the middle of the board, and must start over upon re-entering the game.
After moving all your pieces to your home board, you can begin removing them from the board. The order of removal is determined by the numbers rolled on the dice. For example, if you roll a double 1, you can remove two pieces, with a value of 1 each.
Overall, this software provides an engaging and challenging digital version of one of the most historic board games around.
