Baobab

Baobab is a C/gtk+ application designed to analyze directory trees in any Gnome environment. With Baobab, users can easily draw either the entire filesystem tree or a specific user-requested directory branch. This versatile application has been thoroughly tested on Ubuntu Linux version 05.04, and due to its reliance on the widely-used gtk2 libraries, it can be run on any Gnome desktop.

To run Baobab, users will need to have libgtk2.0-0 (version 2.6.0 or higher) and libpango1.0-0 (version 1.8.1 or higher) installed on their system.

With the latest release of Baobab, users can enjoy a restyled code with a new View Menu and reworked toolbar. The toolbar and status bar can also be hidden as per user preference or follow Desktop-wide toolbar preferences. Modules naming has been changed for better clarity and consistency, and terminology has been updated from "folder" to "directory". In addition, memory leaks have been fixed, the app icon can now be themed, and a previous issue with deleting files has also been resolved.

Overall, Baobab is an excellent tool for directory tree analysis and offers several great features, making it a convenient and useful addition to any Gnome user's toolkit.
