Bio::SeqIO::game::gameWriter

I recently tried out the Bio::SeqIO::game::gameWriter, a Perl class that is specifically designed for writing game-XML. If you're familiar with Perl programming, then you are probably familiar with the Bio::SeqIO class. Bio::SeqIO::game::gameWriter is a class that is best used in conjunction with Bio::SeqIO, which is responsible for managing and reading Biological Sequence data, by writing data in GAME format.

Overall, I found the gameWriter to be a very useful tool for writing GAME-XML (v. 1.2) that is readable by Apollo. This software's best feature is its ability to take input from Bio::SeqIO, which makes it easy to write the output in the desired format. With just a few lines of code in the SYNOPSIS section, I was able to quickly and easily write a sequence object in GAME format.

In my experience, it is best not to use Bio::SeqIO::game::gameWriter directly, but instead access it via Bio::SeqIO. However, it is still a solid tool for those who are looking to write GAME-XML (v. 1.2) that is readable by Apollo. All in all, I would recommend giving it a try and seeing how it can benefit your work.
