Bluetooth Configuration Widget

This software widget requires you to connect to your phone the first time you use it. You can easily do this by trying each connection option on the list until you find one that responds and identifies your phone. However, in case you don't want to waste time connecting to every phone in your office, you can just open Bluetooth Preferences and create a new port or check what the serial ports on your phone are named.

Although serial ports with a Dial-up networking device service and RS-232 port type work best, this varies according to your phone model. Some phones may ask you for confirmation every time you attempt to send a message. To avoid this, it is best to refer to your phone manual and learn how to automatically allow connections from your computer.

In case you experience errors such as "resource is busy" when sending messages or selecting a serial port to communicate through, it may indicate that your phone has Bluetooth turned off, is outside Bluetooth range, or that the Bluetooth connection is in use by another application. Overall, this widget is easy to use and efficient with the right configuration.
