CAF Warehouse

The Warehouse System is a powerful tool that allows for efficient recording of all purchased and stored products. With its user-friendly interface, you can easily search for items by various criteria such as storage location, date stored, description, invoice number, manufacturer, model or serial number, quantity stored or issued, qty-on-hand, and acquisition cost. There are many fields available for customization, too many to list in this small space.

The cross-reference files make use of a lookup feature that is seamlessly integrated with the Warehouse System. These files include Employee, Vendor Message Pad, Item Descriptions, Storage Locations, and Manufacturers. If you plan on using the Warehouse System, make sure that you download the lookup files as well for testing under Warehousecodes.sit.

The Warehouse System is not just great for businesses but also for home equipment inventory. Its coded fields open up when needed, and a script is performed when you click on the blue underlined link to lookup the data. Once you have found the record you need, simply click on the code field and use the script button to paste it into the Warehouse Database. Additionally, when using the employee database, make sure to choose the script that will paste the preferred ID number (requested by, authorized by, or issued by).

To use the Warehouse System, you will need Filemaker Pro 4.0 or later. With its wide range of features, user-friendly interface, and seamless integration with lookup files, the Warehouse System is a valuable addition to any company or home setup.
