CoinXtension is a programmer-friendly graphics framework extension, designed for use with the "Coin 3D" framework.
CoinXtension is a software that enhances the Coin 3D framework by offering additional operators for existing data types. However, one of its most significant improvements is the extension of linear algebra capabilities through the addition of the new C3Xt_matrix3d data type. This new feature offers useful routines, including eigenvalue or QR-decomposition algorithms.
To use CoinXtension, you only need to have Coin 3D and libstdc installed on your platform. It should work on all platforms that host Coin 3D, but it was developed and tested specifically for Linux/x86.
