CPU-Center

CPU-Center is a fantastic Yahoo! widget that provides you with a treasure trove of information about your computer. The widget shows you the three most active processes on your system, as well as CPU usage, load averages, uptime, battery state, and airport signal strength.

One of the best features of CPU-Center is its innovative use of gradients to show CPU usage. As the usage level increases, the processes and CPU usage turn from green to red in a subtle gradient, providing you with an at-a-glance idea of how your computer is performing.

If you only want to see certain information, you can always disable some of the features and enable others using the preferences panel. You can choose to view or hide load averages, uptime, battery information, and airport signal strength as you see fit.

Finally, CPU-Center features a red "kill-button" that appears next to each process. This is an incredibly smart feature that lets you quickly and easily stop any process that is hogging your CPU or otherwise misbehaving. Overall, CPU-Center is an excellent widget that any computer user should have in their arsenal. Highly recommended!
