Crop QXP Images is an indispensable AppleScript which allows you to efficiently crop images to their designated picture boxes in QuarkXPress! The script interface is very simple and all you need to do is select the images present in your QuarkXPress document and run the script.
With this tool, you are presented with the option of cropping either the original image or its duplicate. Once you have selected your desired option, each image is automatically opened in PhotoFlash where it is cropped as per your specifications. The final step includes re-importation of the cropped image back into XPress, thereby maintaining the previous scaling.
Unfortunately, it is important to note that this particular script is saved as 'read-only’. This is due to the fact that certain routines included within the script were derived with some assistance from other sources.
