D-FileMU

D-FileMU is a versatile software program that allows you to modify multiple file names at one time quickly and easily. With its small and fast operation, D-FileMU lets users perform a variety of actions to modify the file names. These actions include adding strings, deleting first/last 'n' characters, replacing strings (case and non-case sensitive replacement), changing case, changing file extension, adding sequenced numbering (normal or even type) to the beginning or end of the filename, and changing file attributes.

Users are also allowed to choose more than one action at once. The program lets users select a number of files from any number of drives or directories and also select the files by different methods. Once the actions and files to be modified are selected, users can preview the changes before making them.

Users can make changes to actions or files selected at any point before performing the changes. The program has a back button that users can click on for this purpose. After performing changes, a detailed process file is created that shows step-by-step how the filenames were modified. This is available to the user to view after the changes have been completed.

D-FileMU is user-friendly allowing you to use it as a command-line utility, and its preview feature ensures that you can confirm the changes you want to make before executing them.
