Dcraw-assist is a powerful Kommander script that generates both full-sized and web-sized JPEGs using the popular utilities DCRAW and ImageMagick's convert. What sets this tool apart is that ImageMagick manipulations such as contrast and unsharp masking are executed before the image is converted to sRGB. Plus, users can keep or delete DCRAW's TIFFs and add custom signatures to the web image.

This software is ideal for batch processing an entire directory of uniformly exposed images, and the resulting JPEGs are fully compatible with online print shops that use sRGB. Additionally, web-sized images are ready for easy upload.

Before you download, it's important to note that Dcraw-assist is not an image editor or raw converter designed for painstakingly correcting single shots. Instead, it's a time-saving program that can help you quickly process and print up to 60 images at once.

To use this software, you'll need to have Kommander installed on your machine. The latest version of Dcraw-assist includes new DCRAW wavelet noise reduction and requires at least DCRAW version 8.60 and Kommander 1.30 to operate.
