DoctorJ project is a Java documentation analysis application that aims to ensure compliance with industry standards and high precision in coding accuracy. It surpasses the capabilities of javadoc as it is capable of detecting a wide range of issues. These issues include, but are not limited to, misspelled words, parameter and exception name errors such as missing, misordered, or misspelled parameters, as well as Javadoc tags that are invalid, misordered, or missing expected arguments, invalid arguments or missing descriptions, and classes, methods, fields, and parameters that are undocumented.

This latest release of DoctorJ project consists of several notable improvements. Firstly, the application now reports warnings and errors at the strictest level by default, ensuring high accuracy in detection of issues. Additionally, runtime exceptions and errors are now detected with greater effectiveness, eliminating many errors stating that an exception was documented yet not declared in the throws list. Finally, the --warning option has been replaced with --level, making it even easier to adjust detection settings to suit your needs.
