DVDx is a software that facilitates the conversion of DVDs to various formats like VCD2.0, SCVD1.0, or AVI (DivX), MPEG1/2 using the Tsunami Mpeg encoder. It also enables the conversion of DVDs to DivX format with the inclusion of the Lame MP3 encoder.
I recently tried DVDx and I'm pleased to say that it's an excellent software for converting DVD to VCD2.0, SCVD1.0, or AVI (DivX...). The best feature I found was that it allowed me to convert in just one step, including multiplexing and splitting.
Additionally, the software produced high-quality movies in AVI, MPEG1/2 formats, all while being incredibly space efficient – it doesn't require 5GB or more free on my hard drive!
