The program works by analyzing your photos and drawing gray dots in the locations of color and brightness differences in the pixels. The raw sketch can then be filtered and enhanced to remove any noise that may have been introduced by other filters or during the shot.
Once the sketch is complete, a cartoon is created using two images: the sketch and the image to be masked. Various filters can be applied to the latter, such as a color reduction filter for more cartoon-like images.
