Core MIDI-Unitor-Family-Driver is available for USB interfacing with Unitor8 MkII, AMT8, and MT4. Drivers are also available from other manufacturers like Edirol, Event Electronics, Evolution, M-Audio (Midiman), Motu, Roland, and Tascam.
Audio hardware is handled using the Mac OS X standard known as "Core Audio". This removes the need for proprietary standards like ASIO, EASI, or Direct I/O. Core Audio drivers are available for built-in Apple audio hardware and the EMI 2|6, as well as from other audio hardware manufacturers such as MOTU, M-Audio, Edirol, and RME.
Access to 3rd party DSP plug-ins is now covered by the Mac OS X standard known as "Audio Units". Current limitations include Autolink with Sound Diver, which is not currently available.
