I recently had the opportunity to explore the Tripoli territory and I must say, it is an absolute gem. Spanning over the majority of Mount Libanus, the Pashalik offers a breathtaking view like no other.
The region is divided into various districts, commonly known as Mekatta, and each is unique in its own way. El Zawye, for instance, is located in the lower part of Mount Libanus, to the right of the Kadisha. On the other hand, Djebbet Bshirrai, named after the village it surrounds, is situated near the Cedars.
El Kella, El Koura, and El Kattaa are among the other districts in the region, each offering its own sceneries and adventures. The mountains towards Batroun and Batroun itself are also worth visiting.
I cannot leave out my experience in Djebail either; with the stunning views and mesmerizing atmosphere, it was a memory worth cherishing. El Fetouh over Djebail, as far as Kesrouan, is also a sight to behold.
Finally, the northern declivity of Mount Libanus, Akkar, is an exceptional district currently governed by Aly Beg, a man renowned for his generosity, liberality, and knowledge of Arabian literature. Overall, the Tripoli territory is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and adventure.
