ExEf is a RealTime DSP software that comes with recording capabilities. After installing ExEf properly, users can run it in two ways. The first and more convenient way is to run it with the GUI displayed below, which can be done by simply typing "ExEf" in the command line.
The second way, which is less convenient but better for processing, is to run ExEf without the GUI by typing "ExEfDSP." Both programs can be run with specific configuration files using the following format: "ExEf [] [filename]" for ExEf and "ExEfDSP [] [filename]" for ExEfDSP. Options in the configuration files include "-f filename" for processing a WAV or raw file as input and "-q" for processing input file only without any audible output. If no filename is supplied, or an error occurs, the "~./ExEf/.ExEfrc" is used next.
To get the processed output, recording must be enabled. This can be achieved by changing the "0" to "1" in the line as follows: "SaveWave 0 3 start.wav output." With this fantastic software, users can process their audio files in real-time with ease.
