Fazortan

Fazortan is a software designed for complete control over the Phase shift parameter, giving you a high level of adjustability and precision in obtaining the desired sound contour. As an analog phaser modeled virtually, Fazortan has characteristics identical to its analog counterpart, making it a fine equivalent to the retro phaser device taken from the 70's.

The Fazortan software is the same sounding unit that provides primal functionality and sound of the original retro phaser. However, its limitless scope extends beyond the original device's limitations, making it a completely new and expanded device that effectively expands the capabilities of the original.

Full control over two LFOs (waveform, rate, depth, and offset) is available, unlike the hardware unit, whose LFO works only in one waveform mode, i.e., Triangle. Fazortan's LFO, on the other hand, works in various waveform modes - square, sinus, ascending saw, descending saw, and random.

With the simultaneous use of both LFOs, you can obtain result variations ranging from monotonous sluggish swing to gurgling scrumbles, just by slightly repositioning the Rate knob. Additionally, you can add consecutive AllPass stages and regulate the feedback effect.

The amount of stages will give you control over the pits and humps residues in the converted sound spectrum, while the feedback parameter value will imply the severity of these irregularities. Moving the Feedback knob will give you sounds from soft to rapid and drilling. To visually display how it works, consider a white noise as an input signal.

Moreover, each LFO can be modified by altering its respective phase, giving you an improved panning of the incoming signal.
