Fluenz Mandarin is a language learning tool that was developed by a small team with the objective to provide a program that would help people speak Chinese quickly. The creators of this software had previously tried other language programs and also studied Mandarin in China, which inspired them to build a program that they wished they had while learning. The heart of Fluenz Mandarin is their instructor, Sonia Gil, who has over 150 video clips embedded throughout the program. The creators realized that replicating the experience of personal coaching in English was an essential aspect of learning a new language.
