Froq

Froq is a software tool designed for rapid Oracle querying, catering to Mac OS X users who require easy access to Oracle databases. Though it is still being developed, Froq is now available to the public as a PUBLIC BETA version for testing purposes.

Froq aims to offer a user-friendly and intuitive interface for fast browsing of databases. Its unique searching features include 'Quickfilter' and 'CrossQuery,' which simplify the search for specific data and allow users to jump from table to table to find related data quickly.

Besides these browsing features, Froq has an SQL input area that permits users to execute any SQL commands they need. Froq also offers plan tables to analyze how Oracle will execute statements, options to export data, and re-format SQL.

For database administrators and analysts, Froq introduces the Froq Management Window. This feature provides insights into database information and settings, enabling users to identify any database issues. The window gives an overview of all sessions, locks, as well as long operations, and users can display detailed session information for every running session.

Currently, Froq is available in two languages – English and Dutch. Overall, Froq appears to be a promising software tool for efficient and straightforward Oracle database querying.
