The GBNBot project is a software tool designed to function as a Battle.Net Bot.
GBNBot is a Battle.Net Bot that is designed to moderate Bnet channels. Written in Perl, this BNet Bot has the ability to accept commands from Ops, ban users, tag ban users, rejoin if it's kicked or banned, and be run from a shell account. Although still in development, GBNBot is incredibly stable and usable.
Some key features of GBNBot include its ability to connect to Battle.net, join its home channel, accept commands from owners, read config from files, be configured by an easy ./install program, and be run from a real operating system.
With bug fixes, added joining the main channel, cleaned code, and the removal of rvalues that should be lvalues, the latest release of GBNBot is even more effective and efficient. Overall, GBNBot is a reliable and powerful tool for moderating Bnet channels.
