giFTcurs

I recently had the opportunity to test out giFTcurs, a peer-to-peer client using the OpenNAP protocol. This software has a lot to offer, but it does require that the user have giFT already installed in order to function properly. Once these requirements are met, however, giFTcurs proves to be a seriously slick program.

What I appreciate most about giFTcurs is its stability and speed. The software is feature-rich, and its curses frontend makes it easy to navigate and perform searches for files. Additionally, giFTcurs is the recommended frontend to giFT, which only reinforces its reliability and quality.

Another thing worth noting about giFTcurs is its attractive design, which brings back memories of lost BBS days. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the aesthetics of this software, and the end result is really something to behold.

One minor issue I encountered was that giFTcurs does not have any incompatibilities with the protocol, but it won't work that well without giFT. Fortunately, users can find everything else they need at the project page.

Overall, I am very impressed with giFTcurs and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a peer-to-peer client. The latest release includes a distribution of the roff source files, which is just one more reason why giFTcurs is a top-notch software choice.
