HTTP Prefix Module

As a software review, we wanted to acknowledge the ease provided by the HTTP Module. It has the capability to handle HTTP prefixes such as "www." while also being able to manage the "http" or "https" scheme for SSL pages. This feature can all be done in one configurable area, so there's no need to worry about going through multiple steps.

Once activated, the HTTP Module takes over the responsibility of processing all web pages and files that are within the ASP.NET pipeline. You won't have to worry about manually coding the redirects every time you want to edit something.

One of the features we particularly appreciate is the ability to determine whether your web site will or will not use the "www." prefix. Regardless of how the address is typed, it will always redirect back to your original choice. This eliminates any confusion for the user and ensures that they are directed to the right place.

In addition, the HTTP Module allows you to define a list of SSL pages that require the "https" prefix. This means that when accessed, the pages will automatically switch to the secure version. This feature eliminates any typing mistakes and ensures that sensitive information is always protected.
