iCal-Alarmist is a software tool that allows for fast and easy setting of alarms and editing of events in a calendar, with the ability to do so for multiple events at once.
I recently stumbled upon an issue where I was unable to set multiple alarms for all birthdays using iCal. Therefore, to solve the problem, we developed a software called Alarmist and hoped it would come in handy for others as well. The best part is, the basic version is free! It sets alarms for every single event present in your calendar, in addition to the existing alarms. It is also compatible with Tiger. Also, you have the option of deleting alarms you no longer require.
Should you wish to have more options available, you can choose to purchase an unlock code via PayPal for E 3,47 (± $3.80 USD). The iCal Alarmist software offers several amazing features. You can set alarms for all calendar events with a single click, and customize the kind of alarm you want. This could be set via sounds, email, popups, or a combination of the three. We've included the ability to synchronize it with your Addressbook birthdays, thus doing away with the annoying FAKE calendar from Apple. You can also set "all-day" events such as birthdays, set "BEFORE/AFTER" event alarms, and the number of days/hours. Furthermore, you can set a recurrence pattern (making events happen annually).
There's also the option of setting NO alarms but change events based on keywords. However, some limitations apply. For instance, the free version can only set alarms, whereas the full version can synchronize, offer several alarm options, and let you edit events based on keywords.
