JaxMe

The JaxMe project is an open-source implementation of the JAXB specification for Java/XML binding. This type of software takes in a schema description (which can be in various formats such as XML, DTD, RelaxNG, Java class, or database schema) and generates a set of Java classes. These classes include a Java bean class that's compatible with the schema description, an unmarshaller that converts an XML document into the corresponding Java bean, and a marshaller that goes the other way and converts a Java bean back into an XML document.

Additionally, JaxMe-generated classes are capable of storing the Java bean into a database, preferably an XML database like eXist, Xindice, or Tamino. The software can also query the database for bean instances and even implement an EJB entity or session bean with the same abilities.

This release of JaxMe is dedicated to bug fixes, particularly for large-scale and composed schemas. Overall, JaxMe provides a powerful solution for Java developers seeking to bind XML schemas to Java code.
