Access Viewer by Kaisoft is a software solution designed for PocketPC users in need of a small yet powerful database application. This application allows users to create, read, edit, and manage Access compatible databases with ease. Access Manager offers a complete solution for managing Access databases and Pocket Access databases on your Pocket PC.
The main functions and features of Access Manager include the ability to work with Access databases (*.cdb) on your Pocket PC. Users can create new or open/change existing databases, create, edit, delete, rename or alter table structures and fields, add, edit, remove data records (new: edit queries), and load large tables quickly. Quick search and filter forms are also available, as well as a Replace function and advanced filter, search, and sort functions for tables. Users can manually or automatically adjust column sizing to the column name/data width, and exporting records is made possible through CDB, RTF, TXT, and object store. The software is available in several languages, and comes with online documentation.
Access Manager has received updates that include a faster table view (66% without cell format), a checkbox for "bit" fields, and the ability to add new fields to existing tables or delete existing single fields. Renaming tables and existing fields is now faster and safer with the Undo function, and 2 edit dialogs (copy, paste, cut, select...) are now available. The software now features table association with a second table, fully editable, and allows for setting cell width with one click. Different input for date fields (date and time) is also a new addition, along with a new button in the menubar, the ability to create indexes on tables, and the ability to call phone numbers per DTMF and Infrared and Bluetooth.
