Accuracy is a crucial factor when using software like KaLiBat, and it has been extensively analyzed. Many comparisons showed that KaLibat can achieve accuracy values lower than 30% for slab-on-grade floors and, in other configurations, lower than 12%. However, if the screed is taken into account, the accuracy level remains satisfactory, ranging from 15% to 20%. For the geometry displayed on the screen, calculation is performed by a finite volumes method with an automatic meshing, which provides reliable results.
