KayBot is an IRC channel protection bot designed for safeguarding the channels from unwanted users and trolls.
KayBot is an incredibly helpful bot that is specially designed to protect your IRC channels. To install, simply follow the below procedure:
1. Begin by running the './configure --prefix=/your/home/dir' command.
2. Once complete, run the 'make' command.
3. After completion, run the 'make install' command.
Once that is completed, proceed to edit the kaybot.conf file located in PREFIX/kaybot/etc/ to ensure that the settings in your channel are tailored to your needs. After that, you will need to run 'utils/kbadduser', where the path refers to PREFIX/kaybot/etc/passwd.
Once all steps have been taken, you can run the 'kaybot' binary and you are ready to begin!
