KBattleship is a KDE-based game that involves battling ships.
If you are a fan of classic board games, then you should try out KBattleship. It is a traditional Battle Ship game designed specifically for users of KDE. To start playing KBattleship, you need two players, either playing against the computer or in a network against another real player. The other player must choose to "Connect to network game" or "Game->Connect to game" and enter the host name of the server. The left grid shows your ships, and the right grid shows the enemy's ships. To fire at the enemy's ships, simply click on a sector on the right grid where you think the ships are located.
The game begins with the initiator placing their ships, followed by the second player. Ship placement is easy – click on the field where you want to place your ships, and by default, the ships will be placed horizontally. To rotate them by 90 degrees, use the Right Mouse Button before placement.
When a ship is hit, fire breaks out, and to sink it, you need to hit all the squares it occupies. A sunk ship will appear faded. The game can be restarted at any time by choosing "Game->Restart Game" or pressing F5.
