Knights and Merchants

Knights and Merchants is an RTS game that is reminiscent of the classic Settlers game. It is set in a time when the kingdom has been ravaged by countless battles, resulting in the division of the land into numerous small principalities and earldoms. The king's troops have been forced to retreat and are now occupying the last remaining royal province while the rulers of the other provinces engage in a series of devastating wars against each other.

The whole land has been thrown into turmoil and the final royal province is under the constant threat of attack by the rebel armies. Knights and Merchants is a game that takes place in a fictitious kingdom that is set in the middle ages. All of the game elements and scenes are based on the Anglo-Saxon period, which was around 1200 A.D.

As a player, you take on the role of a captain in the king's army. A conspiracy against the king sets you on a path where you find yourself responsible for the defense of the last royal province. Your primary objective is to earn the king's favor by taking back the renegade provinces and crushing the rebellious lords. You will need to employ your strategic skills to gather resources, train your army, and plan your attacks to achieve your goals.
