Kopkop is a software designed for IP networks that offers secure remote command triggering. Essentially, it comprises of a kopkop daemon that listens for encrypted, signed and fully random-looking command packets, containing only the fields essential for the packets' travel through the internet, logically-filled with 'sane' data. Once received, user-defined commands are executed after a preset timeout. This can help in minimizing the system's attack surface by hiding services like 22/tcp ssh or 1000/tcp webmin, etc., thereby reducing chances of potential malicious attacks.

The kopkop client is also included, which acts as the sending mechanism for the packet. Communication between the client and the server is strictly unidirectional and minimal with random padding used to spread the packet size between 120bytes and 8Kbytes. Additionally, replay attacks are forestalled as monotoneously increasing packet ids are stored and compared on both sides.
