Last.fm Last Track

Last.fm Last Track is a free Adium script that lets Last.fm account holders display the latest track they have submitted effortlessly. Not only that, but the script also allows users to show the track they are currently playing or have played recently, even from another computer or media center.

Just like Last.fm, the script displays either "currently listening to Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin" or "was listening to Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin 23 minutes ago" if the song has been played for more than 10 minutes. One of the best things about this script is that it's Last.fm friendly because it uses a delay for fetching the last track from the Last.fm server.

To use Last.fm Last Track, you only need to insert the following into your name, status message, or message: %_lastfmtrack{username, delay}. You'll have to replace 'username' with your Last.fm username and 'delay' with the time for refreshing tracks from the server. Since Adium refreshes every 30 seconds, you should set the delay to 6 for a three-minute refresh time. Overall, this script is a useful tool for those who want to share their listening habits on Last.fm with ease.
