Lingua::EN::Namegame

Lingua::EN::Namegame is a Perl module designed to compose a "Name-Game" verse using a name or a word as an input. The usage of this module is simple and can be done in multiple ways. Firstly, by importing Lingua::EN::Namegame and using name2verse() function to create the verse:

Alternatively, the verse can be created directly from the OS command prompt by running the script provided with the module:

The output of this module is a Name-Game verse, which repeats the given name twice and modifies the following syllables. For instance, the verse for "Marsha" would be:

Nevertheless, the module also takes into account political correctness and provides an extra script called name2verse_nonprofane.pl which eliminates any profane words from the verse. If the input name contains a profane word, a message will be displayed saying "Sorry, the verse for [name] contains a profane word."
