With LinScope, it becomes easy to scan different IP address ranges either separately or together, and the application also searches for FTP and HTTP services. You can add these IP address ranges and then scan them apart or side by side.
Not only can LinScope save your favorites, but it also has the ability to create a customized list of your IP address ranges. The project is built to work in extensive networks and internet environments where broadcast traffic is disabled (uses direct IP address and rpcclient from samba).

The installation process is relatively straightforward. You need GCC, make, QT 3.3.X (or later 3 series) with qmake, uic, moc. Once you have downloaded linscope-X.X.X.tar.gz, you can then run the following commands - tar xvzf linscope-X.X.X.tar.gz, cd LinScope/linscope/, qmake, and make. You can then copy "lrpcscanip" and "linscope" to any directory that exists in $PATH.
Alternatively, you can download linscope-X.X.X-bin.tar.gz, unpack, and copy "lrpcscanip" and "linscope" to a directory that exists in $PATH.
