Linux Replicated High Availability Manager is a software application that enables the configuration of clusters to ensure high application availability by replicating data across systems.
The Linux Replicated High Availability Manager, also known as Linuxha.net, offers an efficient way of creating clusters to enable high availability of applications through data replication. At the moment, the software allows for two-node clusters, but multiple applications can be hosted, and the nodes failed-over between them.
To provide the data replication facility, DRBD is used, which is a shared-nothing type of architecture that is complex to configure and manage. However, Linuxha.net toolset tries to simplify the process by managing much of the complexity for the administrator.
The software has undergone various developments and testing procedures, primarily on Linux 2.6 distributions such as Fedora Core, to ensure that it works correctly on the latest available distribution releases.
Additionally, the software comes with excellent support documentation, which includes several guides and a user manual. However, the user manual will eventually be replaced by a reference guide and various installation and user guides whose completion is ongoing. Thus, you should regularly change the documentation page since new guides will be added soon with the aim of covering specific topics.
