Additionally, each Sample Name is a link, which will open a pop-up window allowing you to view chromatograms. Other features include the ability to export a FASTA file, quick links to BLAST and Vec Screen, and a detailed help screen.
The second program, Sifter, also part of the suite, allows you to sort your DNA sequences by quality thresholds. You can drag a folder containing DNA traces onto the program icon and specify the minimum number of quality bases you are looking to achieve. Sifter will automatically sort the data, filtering out any bad runs so you can focus on the good, high-quality data.
The third program, ABI Comment Changer, allows you to change the comments in an ABI file in batch mode or one-at-a-time. Simply drag the ABI files onto the program icon, and you will be prompted to specify the new comments. This program makes it easy to keep your data organized and relevant.
