Matte Suite

Matte Suite is a unique collection of GTK themes that has been inspired by GNOME-Colors and is based on an earlier theme called MatteGlass. This collection takes a completely different approach from most Murrine themes by having no gradients or glossiness. Instead, it's very square, very flat and very fast - with almost no code involved.

Matte Suite features 2 variations for each of the 6 GNOME-Colors color schemes. The MatteCE variation features colorful titlebars and scrollbars while the MattePE variation inherits its colors from bg_color.

To install the Matte Suite theme, simply follow the steps below:

- Right-click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background
- Click on the first tab: Theme
- Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window
- If everything goes well, you will receive a confirmation message and can activate the theme by clicking on it

GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems.
