mintUpload

MintUpload is a useful software tool that allows you to upload files to the internet, making it easier to share or send big files. This tool can be accessed by right-clicking on a file and selecting "upload." It has been mostly used to share files by uploading them to a public place on one of Linux Mint's servers and sharing the corresponding URL. Some users have also purchased Mint-Space accounts and set up mintUpload to add an additional upload service to it, which allows them to share files in a similar way but using their 1GB of web space.

To install mintUpload, you require the Romeo repositories. Perform an "apt update" and "apt install mintupload" in a terminal. If Romeo is not set up, you can download the packages from the download page. MintUpload lets you define "upload services" by adding files in /etc/linuxmint/mintUpload/services/. You can define your FTP service by adding type=FTP, name, host, user, pass, and path in the file.
