The Action Panel window has three separate tabs that allow you to perform mass operations over the selected tags in the main window. You can use the first tab for file renaming, the second for filling tags from filename, and the third to write the same information in multiple tags. You can read tag data from the file names, change filenames using tag data, write information in multiple tags, and use predefined masks for file renaming/tag reading.
