This software displays NASCAR race schedules, standings, and results for specific races. Efficiently keeps NASCAR fans updated with the latest information.
This software presents users with the latest NASCAR Schedule, complete Standings, and detailed Race Results for any specific race. It offers users the ability to toggle easily between the Sprint Cup, Nationwide, or Craftsman Trucks series via the Preferences menu or the context menu. The default view is the Sprint Schedule.
Right-clicking or using CTRL-click on a Mac will bring up the context menu. From there, users can switch between Nationwide, Craftsman, or Sprint series, and switch between Standings and Schedule view. In Race Results view, users can click on a specific race title to view official results. Returning to Schedule view is easy through the context menu or the "Go to Schedule" button. Similarly, when viewing the Schedule, selecting the "Go to Standings" button will switch the widget to Standings view.
Preferences can be customized to choose how many races to display in Schedule view, and how many drivers to display in Race Results or Standings view. The next and previous buttons are helpful for cycling through either races or drivers. Information updates in real-time as it becomes available. By default, data refreshes when the widget loads, when users select "Refresh" from the context menu, or when users save their Preferences. Additionally, users can set data to refresh when the widget is maximized.
Data is scraped from NASCAR.com, and the columns displayed and background opacity are customizable. Starting with version 1.6.4, logo position and size can be customized too. Users can place the logo in any corner, aligning the widget against any edge of the screen. Double-clicking the logo will minimize or expand the standings list, and clicking on the minus and plus images will do the same.
Users can also see the "Last Updated" time by hovering their cursor over the logo. Lastly, from the Preferences window, users can opt for the software to check for a newer version on startup or manually by selecting "Check for newer version" from the context menu.
