This software summarizes top N drivers' information.
I recently tried out a software that I found extremely useful - it's a tool that displays valuable information about the top drivers in the current NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, or Craftsman Trucks Series. The software is customizable, with the option to display the top N drivers (where N is a number between 1 and 20 specified via the Preferences) and choose the NASCAR series you're interested in. The following data is displayed about each driver: Rank, Driver name, Points, Behind, Money, Wins, Poles, Top 5, Top 10.
One of the great things about this software is that it regularly updates, so you are always up-to-date with the latest information available. Updates are automatically done when the widget is loaded, or when you select "Refresh" from the context menu. You can also choose to set the widget to refresh when maximized, and when you save your Preferences.
The software shows the top 3-4 drivers in the dock, and it scrapes the information from ESPN. You can configure the columns displayed and the background opacity, for a personalized widget that fits your preferences. With logo position and size now configurable (version 1.3.4 and above), you can place the logo at any of the corners of your screen, ensuring you have a fully optimized viewing experience.
The software also comes with a convenient minimize/maximize feature. You can double-click the logo to minimize or expand the standings list, or click on the minus and plus images to expand or minimize the standings list. Hovering over the logo displays the "Last Updated" time in a tooltip.
The Preferences window also allows you to choose whether the software checks for newer versions on start-up or whether you want to check for updates manually. All in all, this software is an incredibly useful tool for any NASCAR fan or racing enthusiast, and I would highly recommend giving it a try!
