Nibbles

The Nibbles project is a clone of the classic game Snake, designed specifically for the ncurses library. Its feature set includes a high score board, as well as clever and visually appealing graphics. While there may be more polished and dynamic nibbles games available, I decided to take on the challenge of creating one with the help of ncurses.

Currently, the game has a few drawbacks that are worth mentioning. Firstly, the level data directory is hardcoded into the game, making it somewhat inflexible. Additionally, the game speed is hardcoded and therefore remains constant, which can become monotonous over time. Finally, the game doesn't handle game overs particularly well, which may detract from the overall user experience.

Despite these flaws, the game has undergone significant development as evidenced by the release of this new version. The key update included in this release is an improvement in the ncurses library used to build the game, which should make it more stable and streamlined. As such, the latest release of Nibbles has the potential to offer an enjoyable and engaging user experience, especially for those who are fans of the classic Snake game.
