I recently had the opportunity to use an e-commerce software that offered an unparalleled level of flexibility and customization. Some of the notable features that impressed me were its multi-client capability, allowing for easier management of individual customers or groups. The software also had the ability to input various shipping costs, add markups for taxes, and set minimum order amounts, giving me greater control over pricing.

In terms of currency, the software allowed me to set a second currency, particularly helpful for when I wanted to conduct business in Euros. Additionally, the software had an option to choose CGI scripts for added security, including SSL or mailto, and could find keywords regardless of case sensitivity.

The software had the added benefit of allowing for groups and subgroups for my products, as I could segment items based on my clients’ demands. Exporting templates was also made easy, allowing me to collaborate with others on the design of my e-commerce shop.

What blew me away, however, was how the software could support individual client templates, giving an added touch of personalization to each storefront. I could even use external programs like Frontpage to design the templates. Furthermore, I appreciated the automatically generated Java code, which created a seamless and efficient user experience. Overall, the software's quick Java-coding and flexibility made it a standout choice for my e-commerce needs.
